Director General Patdono Suwignjo revealed that there is a weakness in improving vocational education.
Director General Patdono Suwignjo explained, “Because we are putting our efforts in improving vocational education, we realized that we have one weakness, which is the lack of an internship program in the curriculum. We are working on what the students should do, what their mentors should do, and evaluation of internships.”
In addition to Director General Patdono Suwignjo, Dr. Habib Adjie, S.H., M.Hum revealed that the digital era has influence in all areas, including the notary major.
Dr. Habib Adjie said, “I imagine that Notary will be different in the coming era. Notary will do their practice in a modern way. There will be no need to stare face-to-face or bring IDs or materials because everything will be digitalized. Everything will be accommodated in big data. Therefore it can’t be denied that there might be a virtual notary in the future.”
The National Seminar was attended by 15 universities such as Universitas Surabaya, Universitas Pancasila, Universitas Jayabaya, Universitas Tarumanegara, and others; Representatives from the Notary Association, members of ALB INI, working Notaries, and university students all amounted to about 250 people.
