This event is a part of the Community Service (PKM) program, helping to improve singing skill of UPH students and communities around Karawaci, in singing individually (solo vocals) or in group form (Choir singing). The Choral Clinic will also be used as a Choral Workshop (Quantitative Descriptive Research) research media: “The Effectiveness of Gesture Vs. Verb; Instruction (in English) for the Development of Singing Choir in Choral Clinic Participation.” Researchers hope that from the results of the study, its participants and all parties involved in the development of the choir can maximize all the sources in the process of developing the choir program they have and plan. All speakers and clinicians in this event are musicians from USA who have doctoral degrees and professional careers and also are members of the Singers of Florida Festival, which is headed by Dr. Kevin Fenton, Assistant Professor of Choral Conducting, Florida State University.
