In our Accounting Study Program, students will not only learn the principles, practices and ethics of international-standard accounting, but also other closely related fields such as taxation, auditing, accounting information system, managerial and behavioural accounting, and capital market. Our students are also be equipped with a biblical worldview to approach this field comprehensively. The Accounting Study Program at UPH Surabaya Campus seeks to produce top-quality graduates who have the character, confidence and capability to be an independent and professional accountant, and deliver quality results in the business community ethically, responsibly, and in a sustainable manner.

Executive Director and Associate Dean
Dr. Ronald, S.T., M.M joined UPH Surabaya Campus in May 2009 as a faculty member in the Faculty of Business. Starting academic year 2010–2011. Currently, he is appointed as the Executive Director and Associate Dean, UPH Surabaya Campus. He obtained his Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering and his Master of Management degree from Universitas Surabaya, Indonesia. He was finishing his doctorate at the Widya Mandala Catholic University, Indonesia by academic year 2014/2015 with Cum Laude. His recent publications and current research interest is on marketing and consumer behaviour. In May 2015, he successfully completed a doctoral degree at Widya Mandala Catholic University, Indonesia in marketing concentration. He teaches Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Entrepreneurship, Research Method, etc. His recent publications and current research interests are on Marketing and Higher Education. He has received various grants from Kemenristek Dikti for example Hibah Dosen Pemula 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016; Hibah Fundamental 2016, 2017, and 2018; Hibah Bantuan Seminar Luar Negeri 2016 and 2019. Some of the research that are published in SCOPUS indexed journals are Determinacy Of Actual Usage Through Behavioral Intention Cimb Niaga Air Asia Big Card (2016); Efforts to enhance active cooperatives in Indonesia based on macroeconomic variables (2018); and Generic drug in Indonesia: why physicians and pharmacists matters (2018). Vierly Ananta Upa, S.E., MSA., Ak., CA earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and her Master’s degree in Accounting from Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia. She also obtained the Pendidikan Profesi Akuntansi from the same university. Registered as a State Register Accountant (Akuntan Register Negara), and an active professional member of the Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants (Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia). Dr. Niel Nielson earned his Master of Arts and Ph.D. degrees in philosophy from Vanderbilt University in the USA. He has served as professor and university president, and also has worked in business and in church ministry. Currently he serves as Senior Advisor to Yayasan Pendidikan Pelita Harapan, and also on boards of directors of both for-profit and not-for-profit enterprises.

He is a Bachelor of Accounting from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia (FEB UI), one of the best in Indonesia, and holds a Master in Management (S-2) in the field of Finance from Tarumanagara University, and holds a Doctorate (S-3) degree in Accounting Science from the Accounting Postgraduate Program, Faculty of Economics and Business from the University of Indonesia (FEB UI). Registered as a State Register Accountant (Akuntan Register Negara), and an active professional member of the Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants (Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia), he also has research fields in the field of audit quality, financial accounting and capital markets.
