A proud achievement has been made by a student from Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) Surabaya Campus. Hedy Aprilia, a Law student from the Class of 2024, successfully claimed the 2nd Runner-Up title in the Grand Final of the prestigious Miss Arka 2024 competition. The event took place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Tri Star Restaurant, Jalan Pasar Besar, Surabaya. This esteemed competition provided a platform for participants to showcase their talents, intelligence, and personality.

Hedy stood out among 45 participants from various regions, including several cities across East Java. Following an initial selection, 20 participants were chosen to advance to the Grand Final. From there, six finalists were selected to compete for the coveted Miss Arka 2024 title.

Hedy’s journey to success was marked by perseverance and excellence. She delivered outstanding performances during the catwalk and Q&A sessions in the Grand Final. Her confidence, eloquence, and charisma impressed the panel of judges, earning her the 2nd Runner-Up position. This remarkable achievement highlights her hard work, dedication, and determination to compete at a national level.

Throughout the competition, Hedy showcased her strengths in communication, poise, and knowledge, inspiring others with her abilities. During her victory speech, Hedy expressed her gratitude and joy:
