Angelia Kusuma Tanaya, a law student at UPH Surabaya, has been awarded the 2024 IISMA Scholarship to The University of Western Australia.

Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) Surabaya campus proudly announces that Angelia Kusuma Tanaya, a 2022 Law Program student, has been selected as a recipient of the 2024 Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA). Angelia will continue her studies at The University of Western Australia. IISMA is a scholarship program organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. This program provides Indonesian students the opportunity to participate in exchange programs at prestigious universities abroad, aiming to broaden their academic and cultural horizons.

Angelia stated, “I am very grateful and honored to be part of the IISMA 2024 program. This opportunity is not only to deepen my legal knowledge at a prestigious university like The University of Western Australia, but also to learn about different cultures and education systems. I hope to bring back valuable knowledge and experiences that I can apply in Indonesia,” she said.

Dr. Fajar S, Head of the Law Faculty at UPH Surabaya Campus, also expressed his pride. “Angelia has shown extraordinary dedication and enthusiasm in her studies. Her selection as an IISMA participant is proof of her hard work and commitment. We are confident that Angelia will represent UPH and Indonesia well on the international stage.”
