WHEELING BACK TO CAMPUS GOES TO UPH KAMPUS SURABAYA.

Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) Surabaya collaborated with Honda Surabaya Center and Jawapos to organize the event “Wheeling Back to Campus” (WBTC) on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
WBTC is an event aimed at exploring the potential of young people, especially university students. The event features sharing sessions, test drives of the Honda WR-V, free vehicle check-ups, and other exciting activities such as games and dance shows performed by UPH Surabaya students.
“However, this time we invited students from Student Activity Units (UKM) to participate in singing and dance performances, showcasing their talents throughout the event,” said Ingelina, the Marketing Communication Manager of Honda Surabaya Center, to the Jawapos editorial team. “Despite the rain briefly showering the event area, the youthful spirit of UPH Surabaya students still shone impressively, allowing them to have a fun and enriching time with Honda,” she added.
Together with UPH Surabaya students, Honda can witness the enthusiasm of young people to pursue their dreams and the desire for continuous development. Therefore, through WBTC, Honda aims to share knowledge about marketing, technology, and introduce products that align with the youthful spirit of students and the academic community in Surabaya. UPH Surabaya students also gain new knowledge and enjoy the excitement of WBTC. With WBTC, it is hoped that UPH Surabaya students can continue to grow and achieve success.
“For the management students participating in the talk show session on Honda WR-V branding, they hope that the presented materials can be applied in campus activities or when entering the workforce in the future,” she added.
Meanwhile, Jessica Juventia, a representative from the UPH Marketing Head, praised the WBTC event, considering it highly beneficial for students. Besides providing knowledge and various games, Honda Surabaya Center also offered free vehicle check-ups and servicing for the students.
“My hope is that the WBTC event runs successfully. Then, for our friends among the student community, they can gain something (knowledge) from the presented material (talk show),” she concluded.
The series of WBTC activities include a “Sharing Session” discussing aspects of branding for the Honda WR-V and safety riding, mini games such as mini bowling and dart games, test drives of the Honda WR-V, a Honda clinic offering free check-ups for Honda vehicles, and enlivened by band performances, a singing performance by Kaleb, a dance performance by Hip Hop Dance from UPH Surabaya, and featuring influencers Kalina Gita – @kalinagt_ and Meilly Herlina – @meillyherlinna.
