Senior Management

UPH believes that our people are our valuable assets. That is why we constantly aim for the highest level of human resource quality. UPH took great concern in recruiting and developing our human resources, as well as managing to place the right person in the right position.

 

We took great care in this issue since we realize the importance of the human resource factor in conducting world-class education. We are fully aware that educators or lecturers are the key factor in improving students' interest towards a subject.

 

Our lecturers are skilled professionals, who have high concern in the educational field. They held masters or doctoral degrees from reputable national and international universities.




Prof. Adrianus Mooy, M. Sc., Ph.D. - Rector
Prof. Adrianus Mooy, M.Sc., Ph.D., joined UPH Karawaci in April 2007 as Senior Advisor. In June 2010 he served briefly as Dean of the Business School and since September 2010 he has been serving as Rector of UPH Surabaya. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Gajah Mada and then obtained his Master’s of Science degree in Economics/Finance and Ph.D. in Economics/Econometrics from the University of Wisconsin, USA. He had been teaching economics at University of Indonesia since 1966 for about 20 years and obtained his professorship in economics in 1987. He also served, among others, as Deputy Chairman for the National Development Planning Agency/Bappenas (1973-1988), Governor of Bank Indonesia (1988-1993), Ambassador to the European Union (1993-1995) and Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations/ Executive Secretary of United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific/ UN-ESCAP 1995-2000).



Dr. (Hon) Jonathan L. Parapak, M.Eng.Sc - The President
Dr. (Hon) Jonathan L. Parapak, M.Eng.Sc. is a graduate from the University of Tasmania, Australia, and was awarded an Honorary Doctor from Ouachita Baptist University. He has an extensive experience in business and government services. He was the President, CEO, and Chairman of Indosat. Dr. Parapak served as a Secretary General of the Department of Tourism, Post, Telecommunication; a member of the National Council of Research. Joining UPH in 2001, he was then appointed as the President and Rector of UPH in 2006.

Dr. Ronald Suryaputra. ST, M.M- Vice President for Academic Affairs – Student Development and Spritual Formation
Dr. Ronald Suryaputra joined UPH Surabaya in May 2009 as a faculty member in the Faculty of Business. Starting Academic Year 2010 - 2011, he was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Management Study Program, and was subsequently reappointed as its Head.  Dr. Ronald is currently Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dean of the Faculty of Business, Law, Computer Science and Creative Industry. He is also the Head of the International Relations Office. In addition, since 2015 he is also responsible for Student Development and Spiritual Formation. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and his Master of Management degree from the University of Surabaya, Indonesia. In May 2015, he successfully completed a doctoral degree at Widya Mandala Catholic University, Indonesia in marketing concentration. His recent publications and current research interests are on Marketing and Higher Education. He Teaches Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Entrepreneurship, Research Method, etc.

Lulu Setiawati, S.E., M.Bus, CFP® - Vice President for Finance & Administration
Lulu Setiawati joined UPH in January 2009. She first joined at UPH as a Lecturer in Finance with the Faculty of Management, She also appointed as the Head of Accounting Study Program from 2009 – 2013. In August 2014, she was appointed as Finance and Accounting Manager and starting the beginning of the year 2015 she is the Vice President for Finance and Adminsitration. She earned her degree in Petra Christian Unviersity ( S.E., in Management) and RMIT, Melbourne (M.Bus, in Finance). She also obtained her professional degree (CFP®, in Personal Finance Consultant). Currently, she is studying her doctoral in Management for the Strategic Management concentration. Prior her joining with UPH, she has worked for different industries both overseas and Indonesia. Her current research interests are in the area of management, Finance, Strategic, leadership and human resource.
